The summary proceedings that Forum for Democracy leader Thierry Baudet has filed against the VPRO, will be on trial on 11 March in Lelystad.
The case would only occur next week, but has been moved.
Baudet demands rectification for statements made about him in the Buitenhof TV program.
Presenter Natalie Righton, who made her debut with the program, said that Baudet would have said:
"… That he thinks the European Union has a preconceived plan to replace the white European race with African immigrants."
This political correctness also drips off in this kind of case. It stands in the way of any intellectual discussion when people want to talk realistically about the future of the Netherlands and Europe.
You don't look at race or color. You look at the consequences and try to properly estimate how our life is going to change and to what extent.
Though one would say that one would prefer one predominantly white Europe. Isn't that the same choice as opting for a predominantly Europe with people of non-Western descent?
Forum finds that it is unacceptable that Buitenhof attributes 'made-up quotations' to Baudet and then justifies those words by calling them a 'paraphrase'.
FVD calls it LASTERLY and totally INCORRECT.
