It is Friday evening restless in the Kanaleneiland district in Utrecht. Images circulating on social media show how panes of bus shelters are killed and fireworks bombs are set off.
Shopping trolleys are also thrown, lampposts were demolished and there was also an attempted looting after a shop front had been smashed.
The police confirm that it is currently unsettled in Channel Island.
"There is a lot of youth on the street and a number of bus shelters have been destroyed and cars set on fire," said a spokesman. 'We are there with multiple units monitoring the situation. '
Images that Utrecht Nieuws shares via Snapchat would also show the Mobile unit is deployed, but the police cannot confirm that.
But CSTV can confirm that.
