The Berlin Administrative Court has lifted the ban on demonstrations against the Corona measures.
A spokesman for the court confirmed this for YOUNG FREEDOM today.
However, the demonstrations may only take place under the strict condition that the minimum distance is observed.
The state of Berlin had banned the protests against the corona restrictions registered for the weekend on Wednesday. The Senate motivated the decision with the fact that the expected group of participants will violate the current infection control regulation.
The Berlin Senator of the Interior, Andreas Geisel (SPD) , announced a crackdown on violations. "I am not prepared to accept for a second time that Berlin is being abused as a stage for corona deniers, Reichsurps and right-wing extremists."
He should not have made that comment and worked like a red rag on a bull. "Corona deniers". The word already shows that people have no idea what is going on in society. He was also mocked as he walked in on a left-wing demo, saying: "
"Lasse sich nicht davon hindern, daß auch Extremists who use Möglichkeit, dort ihre Meinung zu sagen."
“Don't let this distract you. Extremists also have the opportunity to voice their opinions. ”
AfD boss Jörg Meuthen called for Geisel's resignation on Wednesday. The decision was also criticized within the party. The Prime Minister of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Manuela Schwesig (SPD), said against Germany Radio : "Our democracy must allow demonstrations to continue if they do not violate our constitution."
Probably the whole (political) game around it will not help. In fact, it will only encourage people. This is not a demonstration but an overthrow of this policy in Germany and in Europe.
