Poles demonstrated today at the Polish-German border.
They defied the social distancing rules, which they violated en masse.
Due to the travel ban and mandatory quarantine, many Poles cannot go to work in Germany. About a thousand people protested against this.
Entire families are separated from each other by the lockdown and the fence, which is why parents and children meet each other clandestinely at the border between the city of Zgorzelec and Goerlitz in Germany.
People screamed on both sides of the fence: "I want to go to work !!" en 'I want to go home!!'
They rattle the fence that separates them from their home or work.
"Many people have already lost their jobs due to the placement of the fence"said the Polish mayor Rafal Gronicz.
The same kind of scenes were observed at several border crossings in Poland and Germany.
Similar protests will take place on Sunday at the Polish-Czech border.
