FIVE BILLION EURO PER YEAR EXTRA TO THE EU IN BRUSSELS!
Because Britain will soon leave the EU, Brussels misses 14 billion euros in British contributions annually.
That is why the other EU member states are asked to pay a higher contribution to the European Union.
For the Netherlands, that means 13 billion instead of the current 8 billion euros per year.
So… because the EU loses 12% of its income, we have to pay 63% more to the EU.
And that while the Netherlands already contributes proportionally more than its share in the European economy. (5.4% compared to 4.8%)
The EU has a total income of € 2019 billion in 154.
The Netherlands pays 8.3 billion of this. In other words, 8.3 / 154 x 100% = 5.4% of the EU budget
The EU economy amounts to $ 18.700 billion **.
Of this, 9 billion comes from the Netherlands. In other words, 900 / 18.700 x 100% = 4.8% of the EU economy
